Partridge Pedal Party

A pancake and sausage breakfast. Candy flying to children eagerly watching the parade. Novel machines, skilled unicyclists (playing hockey!), entertainment, activities, food, community, and fun for all. What's not to like?! Join us for this year's Partridge Pedal Party on October 15! We're celebrating Partridge's 125th birthday: from 1886 to 2011.

Schedule of Events

  • 7:30-9:00 Breakfast sold at Partridge Community Church
  • 9:30-10:15 Parade in front of school and down Main Street (lines up on Reno Street west of school).
  • 10:15-11:15 Unicycle Hockey in School parking lot
  • 11:15 Alley Cat ride instructions
  • 11:00-2:00 Lunch served by Plainvew Mennonite Church
  • 11:00-2:00 Entertainment on the stage
  • 11:00-2:00 Carnival games for children 8 and younger
  • 11:30-2:30 Banana Bikes--free rides for all!
  • 12:00-2:00 Photography Booth--pose with your friends! (http://www.saycheezphotobooth.com)
  • 2:00-2:30 Announcement of winners of trophies, bikes, and raffles
  • 3:00 Our own edition of "Minute to Win It"--in bus barn
  • 5:30-8:00 Partridge High Reunion and Dinner

Ongoing activities

  • History exhibits in the art room--special displays of Partridge history
  • Banana bikes for children, time to be determined
  • Bicycle Jousting and other fun in the bike area
  • Raffle/silent auction of donated prizes to help the Community Association with some new community development ideas. See below for more information.
  • Put your pedal power to work blending smoothies for you and your friends. You can find Jamie Funke's custom-built version of this fair attraction in the bike area, while fruit supplies last.

Silent Auction

Would you like to contribute to community development and beautification, while getting something for yourself? The Silent Auction provides the perfect avenue!

The Partridge Anniversary Quilt, with various photographs from Partridge history, was quilted by Ruth Terrill. Click on the album link below to see this and other Silent Auction items.

2011 Partridge silent auction items PorkChoppd Custom Bicycles is donating this 26" beach cruiser bicycle, with touches including a custom built springer fork, a custom skateboard rear rack, and 12-gauge spokes in the wheels. Good Jeb Upholstery and Pin Striping is putting custom hand striping art on the rack. From 2011 Partridge silent auction items; see the album for more pictures.
